Hailing from a music family, Thaman fell in love with drums at a very young age and started working as a rhythm pad player at the age of nine. Soon, he got into music full time and worked as a rhythm and keyboard programmer, predominantly for Mani Sharma among others. Finally, in 2008, he made his debut as a music director with Sindhanai Sei. In 2009, he entered Telugu film industry with Ravi Teja's Kick and there has been no looking back for him since then.

In the past six years, Thaman has worked on more than 60 films in Telugu and Tamil, and he's best known for his mass numbers. Some of his most recent hits includes films like Race Gurram, Pandaga Chesko, Vaalu, Kanchana 2, to name a few. His upcoming projects include Ram Charan starrer Bruce Lee and Balakrishna's Dictator. In an exclusive interview with 'Talking Movies with iDream', Thaman opens up like never before about his life, career, music and criticism.

In his career spanning more than a decade, Harish Shankar has carved a niche for himself as a filmmaker, who has an eye for making good action entertainers. After making his directorial debut with Ravi Teja starrer Shock in 2006, he went on to assist the likes of Puri Jagannadh, Yogi and Kishore Kumar Pardasani as a co-writer for films like Chirutha, Bujjigadu, Chintakayala Ravi and Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam.

In 2011, Harish Shankar made a comeback as a director, once again, with Ravi Teja starrer Mirapakay and there has been no looking back for him ever since. Eventually, he ended up directing Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, which went on to become one of the biggest hits ever in Telugu cinema at the time of its release. On the eve of his latest film, Subramanyam For Sale’s release, Harish Shankar joins us at ‘Talking Movies with iDream’ to talk more about the film, working with Sai Dharam Tej & Regina, his writing style and temperament.
